• SECURELY Wire funds to Title Company.

 

CLOSING DAY: WHAT TO BRING

• A printed confirmation of your wire transfer.

• Government-issued photo ID(s).

• Social Security number(s).

• Home addresses from the last 10 years.

• Proof of Homeowner's Insurance.

• Your checkbook (even if you are wiring money).

CLOSING DAY

• Schedule at least 2 hours (1 hour min on average).

• Sign all documentation.

• Title transfers /deeds delivered.

• Confirm Title Company will transfer the water bill.

• Get your keys - congratulations! You're a homeowner!

• Call Xcel (or other): transfer gas and electricity into your name.

• Change your address through the USPS website.

 

POST-CLOSING

• See Vendor Directory > rekey the property

• Watch for refunds for escrowed utility funds
